When you use The Creator Copilot, we collect information necessary to provide our thumbnail A/B testing service:

  • Account information (email address, name)
  • YouTube channel data accessed via official YouTube Partner API
  • Thumbnail images you upload for testing
  • Video performance metrics (impressions, CTR, views)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Provide and improve our A/B testing service
  • Rotate thumbnails on your YouTube videos
  • Calculate and display performance analytics
  • Send you test results and notifications
  • Communicate service updates

3. YouTube API Services

Our service uses the YouTube Partner API. By using our service, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or Google user data to any third parties.

We do not share your data for advertising. Your Google user data is never used for serving ads, retargeting, personalized advertising, or interest-based advertising.

Limited sharing with service providers: We may share limited data with the following categories of service providers who assist us in operating our service:

  • Cloud Infrastructure: We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication. Your data is stored securely on their servers.
  • Payment Processing: We use Lemon Squeezy to process payments. They only receive the information necessary to process your subscription.
  • Analytics: We use privacy-focused analytics that do not track individual users or share data with third parties.

Legal disclosure: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency), or when we believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process
  • Protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
  • Protect the safety of our users or the public
  • Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your YouTube OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL. We regularly review our security practices and update them as necessary.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.

Retention periods:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • YouTube API data: Video performance metrics are retained for the duration of your active tests and historical analytics
  • Thumbnail images: Retained while actively used in tests, deleted when tests are concluded or upon request
  • OAuth tokens: Retained while your YouTube account is connected; automatically invalidated upon disconnection

Data deletion: You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@thecreatorcopilot.co. Upon account deletion or request:

  • We delete all your personal data within 30 days
  • We revoke and delete all YouTube API tokens immediately
  • We remove all uploaded thumbnail images from our servers
  • Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for service improvement

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Revoke YouTube API access at any time

8. Revoking Access

You can revoke The Creator Copilot's access to your Google account data at any time through:

Upon revocation, we will immediately stop accessing your YouTube data and delete stored OAuth tokens.
